Navify is a Shopify app built by the Navefy team (“we”). Questions about this policy: support@navify.tech.
About your store, the merchant:
Your places: names, addresses, coordinates, contacts, opening hours, photos, descriptions, categories, tags and translations that you enter or import. Places are business information you choose to publish in your store.
Anonymous storefront events: when a visitor uses a Navify block and allows analytics through Shopify’s privacy settings, the block sends anonymous events: which block, which place or filter, the device type, a random session id that lives in one browser tab, the distance range to the nearest place and, for searches with no result, the search term. We do not store IP addresses, customer ids, names, emails or coordinates in these events. Without consent, nothing is sent.
Navify stores no data tied to a buyer. It does not read your orders or customers. The visitor’s location is used inside their browser to sort places by distance and is never sent to us.
This site has no forms or accounts. It uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages help merchants. Google Analytics runs only on this site, not in the app or in your store.
Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_M2DD6HLCVQ). It collects the pages you view, the page you came from, your device, browser and language, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We only see aggregated reports, and we do not use them to identify anyone or for advertising.
Google Analytics only loads if you accept it in the cookie banner. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, and declining deletes the Google Analytics cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles each request like any web host.
Server request logs may record IP addresses for security and troubleshooting, and are kept for a limited time.
You can view, change and export your places in the app at any time, and erase them by deleting them or uninstalling. Visitors and customers can make privacy requests through the store, and Shopify forwards them to us; since we store no buyer data, there is nothing tied to them to return or erase. For questions about your visits to this site, write to us.
We will update this page when the app’s or the site’s data handling changes, and change the date at the top.
